Re: Outlook Express Offline on start up

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Check your settings under Tools | Options | Connections and see what's listed there and make sure its accurate. Also check OE under Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Connection and also Tools | Options | General check the box send and receive at startup.

Sounds like something got confused about your connection, however you may be connecting.

Since I have installed Internet Explorer 7, both Internet Explorer and
Outlook Express are in Offline mode when I start up my computer, and on
Outlook Express it fails to check my e-mail on start up. Is this a bug in IE
7?
