MSN Premium (paid account)? I notice what may only be typos for the Hotmail
server:
http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp
http;//services.msn.com./sus/hotmail/httpmail.asp
*N.Miller first noted the semicolon
For MSN the server is more likely to be:
http://oe.msn.msnmail.hotmail.com/cgi-bin/hmdata
But this is dated information. There is another newsgroup (MSN Discussion)
that would be more useful for MSN Mail information:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.msn.discussion

Hi Group, I hope this is the group to ask for help with my problem, if
not could you please point me to the right group.
My problem is, when trying to retrieve my MSN email account using ie6.
Using the connection wizard everything goes along fine on the set up.
MSN is using a http server to access the hotmail system. When I try to
retrieve my mail I will get the following message and error code:
Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server.
Account "Hotmail" server
"http;//services.msn.com./sus/hotmail/httpmail.asp"
Protocol HTTP mail, server Response " Bad Password" Port O, Secure
(SSL): No,error number 0x800ccc32
Any ideas what could be causing this error. I am using windows me with
sp 1 service pack.
