Hi Fourdogs (Joe),
Not sure what the issue is. Any number of news server accounts can be setup
in OE. One name for the Microsoft news server is: msnews.microsoft.com. Use
this server name when setting up an account in OE. No authentication
required. If OE is the default news app the link below could be used to open
this newsgroup. (Subscribe to at least one newsgroup after downloading the
groups list) Check the account settings in OE Tools, Accounts, News tab,
Server name - Properties.

I'm not sure that I explained my question properly. I already have my
newsgroups set up in OE on news.charter.net. I just want to add the
microsoft server and the groups that I now use in this old version of
netscape, under the same identity. In netscape, when I open the message
center, I am given a choice of two servers that I can click on to expand
the groups that I read on that server. Isn't it possible to have two
servers, under one identity, in OE? Sorry for the poor explanation in
previous question. OE is just a new animal to me. I really *do*
appreciate your help.

My dog is worried about the economy because Alpo is up to $3.00 a can.
That's almost $21.00 in dog money.
