Yes, that was my problem - the first rule downloaded the message to
check in the message body. I switched rules and now the messages don't
download.

My server account will never fill up - it is a gmail account and I want
to leave certain mailing lists only in the gmail account and not
download it into OE. I've routed my usual address to gmail and now use
gmail as my POP. Works great and the spam filtering is excellent, now
I'm not downloading that horde of spam to filter it on my PC - gmail
filters it out before downloading.
