This observation has apparently slipped by the other respondents:

You have NOT successfully installed SP2 for WinXP. If you had your OE
version would be 6.0.2900.2180, not 6.0.2800.1123, Which is an SP1 version
of OE with some updates.

First, make sure your computer is clean of all viruses and spyware, then
turn off your anti-virus and install SP2.
