Yes, I suspected McAfee and turned off the spam filter (no difference),
and I have McAfee on my home computer without it causing this problem. I
have now discovered that it is somehow related to my email account. My
domain (pacbell.net) is tied to my yahoo account (my ISP is SBC Yahoo). Messages come into yahoo first and then get moved to my pacbell email
account. The problem seems to be in the transfer from Yahoo to Pacbell,
but for one sending domain only (and not always from that domain). I
think I need to get yahoo involved in this. Thanks for the help.
Please include all of previous message(s) in your replies to the newsgroup, Bob.
If you view the messages in question from your inbox at the pacbell webpage for your email account, is the text of the message blank there, too? If not and if these 2 correspondents are using MS Outlook, ask that they only send to you using Plain Text format.
