That did it. Changing the authorization in the IE options was what I needed.

In Internet Explorer (not Outlook Express), click on the Tools/Internet
Options/Security, and click on the appropriate zone from above (Internet or
Restricted). Click on Custom, and scroll all the way down to the bottom
(User Authentication).


If OE is set to use the Internet Zone, then the User Authentication section
should say "Automatic logon only in Intranet zone".


If OE is set to use the Restricted zone, then the User Authentication
section should say "Prompt for user name and password".
