Hmm - but I find it hard to believe that this isn't protecting me from
viruses. It scans all incoming pop3 mail before I get it. The few times
virus have been found they were detected by email scanning. Yess it uses
localhost/username format. I will reset it manually and see if it doesn
anything, but I don't feel safe not having it on.
