Now I will have to double check, but I am sure it is Windows Update. I just
happened to have MS Word open that day and clicked on Update.

THANK YOU!! No one else has told me that and I wondered what in heck was
wrong with my new computer. It worked fine with WinME so will use that I
guess. But in their (cough) tech section, it seems Pogo has problems with
topnotch sound cards, and they also suggest going back to "Microsoft Java",
would you believe.
