POP3 Accounts

I am unable to download mail from POP 3 accounts since downloading a
Microsoft update for Outlook express 4 days ago. Works fine for hotmail
accounts. This is the error message I am getting.

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'pop.west.cox.net', Server: 'pop.west.cox.net',
Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

any ideas
