Re: Outlook Exp 6 - When Forwarding - address is not shown

I didn't suggest that you install it, I asked if you were (already) running it before you posted your first message. If you were, that's what OE-QuoteFix does by default (though you can change it). If you weren't, it sounds like the person who originally /sent/ you the message was using it.

I'm getting still this kind of headers when using "Forward":

Nothing more...

Are you running OE-QuoteFix? Does the problem persist if you disable it
(right-click on its icon in systray > Terminate)?

Thanks for your help. But, I'm afraid it's
not working here in my case. Still the same symptoms.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for responding. I meant exactly this;
"in the message body, it does not show the original
sender's From address, subject, etc.? "
For example , when I click "Forward" - I'm getting only this:

"Jdr" <uni@xxxxxxxxx> wrote in message
news:<3pke33Fauq7jU1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>...

Instead of:;
----- Original Message -----
From: BBC daily email
To: jdr@xxxxxxxxx

Subject: Your daily e-mail from the BBC
..........
When I "Reply" it seems top bee the same case. As yoi see it
in the line below. Mean ti,me I'm going to search you technical
help.

Do you mean that in the message body, it does not show the original
sender's From address, subject, etc.? Are you doing a Message,
Forward or
Message, forward As Attachment?

Or do you mean in where it shows who you are forwarding TO it does
not show your From address? That will occur if you have just one
mail account
set up within the current identity.

If you do a Reply, are the results different than a Forward?

I'm lost for concepts and asking for a help.

When forwarding from Outlook Express 6, email / message
the usual header address, at the top is no longer shown.
On my wife's pc OE6 works fine, only on mine something went wrong
and the header is missing when forwarding the message.

I wonder where the corruption or wrong setting can be
rectified.... Any help will be greatly appreciated -
TIA -
Joe
