Re: Problem communicating with Microsoft newsgroup server

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I called my ISP. They say "no ports are closed by their policy" and I should
have full access to any internet addresses. The tech I spoke to will pass my
information, error messages, etc. to his Tech support and get back to me if
they find out any thing.

So, it looks like some sort of malfunction rather than on purpose. Maybe I
will hear something from them in a few days........

(I really miss my XP64 newsgroup with Outlook Express. The "search
function" does not work when accessing that group through the web interface.
And that group has been very helpful for me to resolve several other issues
with this new XP64 system)
