news:ZKWRe.32885$d5.187803@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx There's a lot of complaining about OE, esp. from Mozilla fans. One area of
complains is the security (or lack of it).
I have used OE for many years. A number of times I have installed some other
mail client, e.g. Thunderbird, and always with the same result - I uninstall
it and go back to OE, since I think OE actually is better - faster and more
intuitive.
So my questions are:
Is OE really that bad?
Is security an issue in OE, compared to e.g. Thunderbird?
I haven't had one problem with OE since 97. I have tried all the others and,
like you, always come back to OE.
