I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I have no problem with the other features (popup blocking, etc.), and image blocking in OE works fine. The stupid compact bug is also there. But the attachments are not blocked.
Leen indicates his attachments are blocked, but I'm seeing the same thing Peter reported.

"Steve Cochran" <scochran@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote in message news:%234tiyTKqFHA.1024@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI never use that option, but I just tested it in Server SP1 (which is my
usual Desktop OS) and sure enough the attachment blocking does not seem to
work. I can toggle it on and it does not function, so I can confirm it to
be a problem in Server 2003 SP1.
Steve,
Would this be with "IE Hardening" or "IE Softening"? <eg>
See also my discussion with poster rystrom in ie6.browser thread
"Pop-up blocker and manage add-ons" http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?pg=2&p=1&tid=b50f1348-446f-4d57-8aa5-d6c137ae62c0&dg=microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.browser&lang=en&cr=US&sloc=en-us
Since you have that OS perhaps you can clarify what the real UI for and implementation of these new features in it is?
FWIW

I'll forward this info upstream, but I expect it will just land in a black
hole.

OK. Full clean format then install of W2K3. *NO* SP1. Set up OE again.
Attachments are blocked. Activated. Attachments are blocked. Installed SP1.
Attachments are *NOT* blocked.
One more try tomorrow. W2K3 slipstreamed with SP1 this tome. and let me see
this.Always installed SP1 as stand alone before.
