Attachment Setting *

Just a query.
OE is 6.0.3790.1830 (srv03_sp1_rtm) and is used strictly only as a newsreader. When in Tools\Options\Security all is checked as far as not allowing attachments any post that has an attachment is not blocked. Now this does not bother me since I do not touch any but I am just curious as to why the settings do not seem to hold. This was not the case before I re-activated this server due to a MOBO Upgrade. But since the Activation these settings as I mentioned above do not hold and do not implement. Again it does not bother me but I would like to find a solution so as I would also like to know for the future.
