Re: Can't Open OE6 from IE6

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Jim,

Bingo !!!

When I try to mail a web page I get an IE6 terminating error. I can email a
page link without any problem but I can't email the page without causing the
following error;

MICROSOFT VISUAL C ++ RUNTIME LIBRARY
Program C\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe
R6025
-pure virtual function call

Isn't it weird to get a Visual C++ error message from mainline operating
software ?

I applied Frank Saunder's fix by editing the registry entry for Outlook
Express, DLLPATH - Data Path Value to the location of the MSOE.DLL file
(c:\program files\outlook express\msoe.dll). I still have the problem.

You seem to be in the right neighborhood, just a matter of finding the right
house.

Thanks,

RT
