Gravity is a news reader with an SMTP client. While Forté Free Agent is a
news reader only, Forté Agent, the paid version, is a combination news
reader and mail client.

Aside from Pegasus Mail, I really don't know. The way the designers of
Forté Agent have worked it, the free agent can be configured as a 30-day
trial of the paid agent. Maybe you can give it a spin?
