Re: Outlook express error

First make sure that OE is closed.
Second you should be trying to remove the Read Only attribute, not
Rename the file.
Right click the file in the Windows File Explorer, select Properties and
the General tab and uncheck the Read-Only box. Check all of the DBX
files, especially FOLDERS.DBX.
Once the read only setting has been removed, you can try Outlook express
again.
If you still have problems, then you can try some of the other fixes.
