Hi Bob,
Actually I was going to suggest you email me one. Go to Message | Forward as attachment and send it to me that way.
I'll take a look, but I suspect there's not a lot one can do.
cheers,
steve

I hear you Steve ,,, but I have to try ,,, nothing ventured, nothing gained
All I am looking for right now is a common denominator, then perhaps a plan of attack.
I have always though that OE6 was OE6, regardless of which OS it was operating under, apparently not so.
I cannot find a registry switch either, but then my lists are listed correctly, perhaps a switch previously unknown or undocumented.
As information trickles in, it looks more and more like an XP issue, and here, I am hampered because I still run 98SE.
At some point I will need someone using XP that lists these Digest msg.'s in reverse order to search for the cause.
Would you mind if I had one of these Digests sent to you, that way you can see for yourself what is taking place. If your OE lists the list in reverse order and still cannot find a switch, then ?????????????
Contact me off list if you had rather

The unfortunate thing is that even if you find out which systems have which
behaviors, there's not much you can do about it, I don' t think, unless you
find a registry switch, and I don't think there is one.
Most of the OE options are under this registry key (and subkeys of it):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{GUID}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0
And I don't see anything there that would dictate the attachment order.

I have found another computer with a reversed list.
I am now surveying 149 list members for input on their list order AND their
OS ,,, this may turn out to be an OS related thing.
So far :
Computer #
1 98SE 6.00.2800.1409 list in correct order
2. ME list in correct order
3. XP list in Reverse order
4. XP 6.00.2900.2527 list in Reverse order
Now waiting for the survey results to come in, this will take a while to
complete. Am especialy interested if some XP's have correct order and some
in reverse order. This would point to a Registry switch in XP.
