Re: Do we have any Gurus out there. I need help...... Please

No, you missed my point, I had no trouble with it. A friend needed the dll, because the last stationery I sent to them, they saw one picture and a red x for the other one.
I knew that before I got this "puter" I needed the dll to correct my system, but no longer had the dll. It was on my old machine, I never did have it on my new computer.
I was trying to help a friend out and locate the dll for them, but didn't remember what it was or where I even found the fix.
But thanks for answering, I was given the file and instructions elsewhere. I emailed it on, their computer is fixed and I was warmly thanked for hunting down the info for them.
So thanks for offering your help, but you misunderstood my query.  I do truly appreciate the gesture.

Odd thing is (assuming Janice was posting from the problem machine), SP2 is installed (Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2180).

Janice, if you're still around:

Your current Identity may be damaged, especially if its the default Main Identity.  Try creating such an HTML message in one or more of your accounts in a new Named Identity (File>Identities>Add new identity).  Assuming all is well, import messages from the old Identity before deleting it (File>Identities>Manage Identities).

To avoid such corruption in future:

Don't use Inbox or Sent Items to archive messages.  Move them to local folders created for this purpose.

Empty Deleted Items folder daily.

Disable Background Compacting [N/A in SP2] and frequently perform a manual compact of all OE folders while "working offline".  More at http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/files/maintain.htm.

- Do not attempt to close OE via Task Manager or shutdown your machine if Automatic Compacting is taking place (WinXP SP2 only).

Your anti-virus application's email scanning feature can also cause such corruption.  Disable it.  It provides no additional protection.

The problem resides in inetcomm.dll and some have said to replace it with another version and that would fix the problem.  If you have XP SP2, then the problem should be fixed and you won't need to worry about it.

Before I got Windows XP,  I used to not see a second picture in a stat if the script used only one and applied it elsewhere also.
There used to be a fix to allow you to use the scripts and have all the pictures show as intended. I sent a stat to a friend
that worked fine for for me, but when they tried to send it on, it only showed one picture and a red x for the other picture.
I have a new computer and don't have that fix and can't fine it on Larry's site.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
Is anyone able to help me help them?  I sure would appreciate it and I know they would to.
I'll post this around and see what I can find out.
Hoping someone is able to tell me where to find the fix.
