Erronous Recieved Date

I am having some trouble with my message recieved date being wrong in the
inbox. It says that it is the year 1936. It is not a problem with the
internet service provider or mailer, because I am on a network and none of
the other computers have this problem. The taskbar date and BIOS date are
correct. When you open the Email, the date shows correct. I have no idea
what could be causing this and any help would be greatly appreciated
