Ditto. I don't think a screen shot per se is going to be enough information
though. I.e., what would really be required I suspect are implementation
details which would only be available in the HTML file Properties or the
HTML source in order to know if the information needed for building some
fake E-mail headers is extractable. If it is then perhaps he could construct
some .eml files which would represent the saved HTML files which he could
then import into OE and thus have all those details available to it at least
via a local folder. If he needs to do more than a few he would want to write
a program or script to automate this conversion and doing that would require
even better specification of the implementation of the saved messages.
OTOH if the way that he saved the HTML supports file transfer
and format conversion there would be more hope for what he wants
from that. Do you use HotMail? Have any idea what he did
to create these HTML files? Know what support there is for them?
Best case would be that what actually happened is that he created
an offline cache of E-mail message which has full support (somehow)
for transfer from the cache in the appropriate format for the destination.
