Too many newsgroups

Is there a way to hide unused newsgroups from the newsgroups list? Using
Forté Agent (which I use at home, but can't use at work), after downloading
all the newsgroups from the server, I can select all the groups I'll never
use (porn, foreign languages, etc.) and delete them from the list.
Is there a way to do this with OE?
Let's say I want to log on to news.microsoft.com and find a NG for MS
Exchange so that I can post a question. In order to find the group, I
currently would have to wade through 67(!) groups, most of them in foreign
languages, to find the group I need. Is there any way to separate the wheat
from the chaff?
TIA
