I don't know how to send email to "IE". I do know how to pull email from
either a POP3 server, or an IMAP server, using MS Outlook Express, or "OE".

Is var/spool/mail a mailbox, or a mail queue? If the latter, how does it
get delivered to the mailbox. If it is a mailbox, what is the server name
you need to use to access it, and is it accessed by POP3, or by IMAP?

I really doubt that you send email through IE; more likely you receive
email through OE. If I am wrong, enlighten me.

I don't know anything about Squirrelmail, other than what I found in a
Google search. Some kind of webmail program. You still have to get the mail
from that var/spool/mail location.

IE is Internet Explorer. Var/spool/mail is a location on a Unix, or a Linux
OS. Squirrelmail appears to be a webmail application of some kind. This
group is about MS Outlook Express, a mail client which accesses SMTP, POP3,
IMAP, and/or HTTPMail servers. I think you will not find much expertise in
this group for your problem.
