PA Bear, Jim and everyone:

As embarrassing as this may be, but I may not have to change my identity
after all for the simple reason, the fault was in my configuration, without
me realizing. Under User Information I had entered a different name for my
mail and news. Once I synchronized those two, the error message stopped
appearing. Hope it stays this way.
If it shouldn't, I'll let you know.
