Thanks for more info. I assume I can continue to access this thread even
tho' it's archived(?).
I plan on running the RAV scan today or tom'w; I had already run the
Sysclean before you suggested it, but I reran it w/ latest patterns. It came
back clean. As I posted yesterday, I was able to update all the programs
after uninstalling the ZoneAlarm. It's funny 'cuz I already had disabled it
at startup, but something must have been in it that kept updates from
happening. I couldn't check it out, 'cuz it wouldn't even open. Everything
looks good now, except for that error message in NSW. Maybe when I ran
LiveUpdate, it might have had duplicate files or something (??)
Also, she plays on iWon.com and after I ran AdAware (and deleted it), the
page doesn't come back the same as she had it. I think she got hold of
someone and they e-mailed her something about the cookies. I'll see what I
can do.
I'm planning on going there today and un-installing and re-installing the
NSW following your reply of 5/16.
I'll try to repost once everything's all set.
