Re: Can't send/rec e-mail - ?reinstall?

Did try renaming the hosts files (checked them in notepad, but they looked
fine - no security websites listed there.) I also referred to the security
response that Pa Bear had mentioned, so I had all that info.

Decided to uninstall the Zonealarm (had talked to Adelphia this AM also) and
BINGO! We now can do all the updates (Live Update, AdAware, SpyBot, etc.) and
the computer shuts down.

One problem - SpyBot popped up some screens for Symantec. I allowed the
changes 'cuz we had done the Live Updating, But I'm wondering if I
erroneously allowed a deletion I shouldn't have.
The message when I clicked on NSW was -
"Symantec Integrator
Symantec Integrator could not initialize the current frame class. Please
make sure that you did not directly run the integrator."

I had just done all the updates and enabled the MS Firewall; I had restarted
and figured I'd get these scans started so I could leave, and trouble starts!
Please advise.
