You are the man!
It appears to have worked like a charm. I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to guide me through this - I feared screwing up my system.
Best regards,
Nels

Bruce, thank you!
Will give it a try and hope not to screw it up. Will advise later.

Bruce:
Hopefully, this will be my last question before embarking on the adventure.
I am running OE6 and the Key info says OE5. Should I worry about this?
Thanks, again.

"Bruce Hagen" <Nospam@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote in message news:Om3fehGRFHA.1564@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxClick: Start | Run | Type in:
regedit
click OK.
1.. In Regedit, navigate to this key:
|--HKEY_CURRENT_USER |-----Identities |--------{GUID} |-----------Software |--------------Microsoft |-----------------Outlook Express |--------------------5.0
where GUID is the Global Unique IDentifier for your Identity.
2.. Under that key, you will find the following sub-keys, among
others:
|-----------------------Block Senders |-----------------------Rules |-----------------------Signatures
Select the Block Senders Key and delete it. Blocked Senders will be empty, but you can rebuild it now.

Bruce, thank you for your response.
I am dumb enough that I will ask another stupid question:
How do I get to Identity in the registry? (As you can tell, I don't want to screw up on this.)

"Bruce Hagen" <Nospam@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote in message news:OgcB$PGRFHA.1348@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIn case I misunderstood you, if you have more than one identity, all the GUIDs will show when you click Identity in the registry, just make sure you choose the right one at that time to continue.

"Bruce Hagen" <Nospam@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote in message news:OP4qZLGRFHA.1932@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI assume there is more than 1 identity. You have to have the correct one or you will delete the Blocked Senders list in another ID.

My Block Senders list is getting so big that my system is very slow when using the Block Senders list.
If I wish to clear the block senders list by deleting the key from the registry, do I have to have the correct GUID before I get into the registry, or will it be displayed when I get to the key shown below?
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\identities\(GUID)\Software\Microsoft\OutlookExpress\5.0\Block Senders
I'm running XP Pro, SP2, IE6, OE6
Is there more I need to know before I begin this?
Thank you very much for your help.
Nels
