First, thank you all for your suggestions. I have tried them, uninstalled,
rebooted, reinstalled and despite everything NIS continues to scan my e-mails
and stall them completely. I am considering just uninstalling the program
and switching to another anti-virus and firewall.

Any suggestions for good Anti-virus programs and good firewall programs.
