RE: Opening my email in outlook express

I'm having a similar issue. I just downloaded all the available windows and
office updates and patches. As soon as I completed the installation, all of
the emails in my folders will not display in the preview window. I have to
open each individual email in a separate window, then open the message from
the attachment window. I have hundreds of emails in various local folders
and hotmail folders. I sent myself new emails and it does the same thing to
new emails. At first I thought it had deleted the text bodies from the
emails, but it seems to be some kind of security feature installed with the
updates that does not allow emails to be viewed in the preview window, only
as attachments. I checked all of the security settings that I know of in
OE6, but no luck. I really want to resolve this issue. Is there a way to
remove the security updates I just installed?

I'm running 2000 Pro and OE6, completely updated with service packs and
security patches.
