Re: Opening my email in outlook express

Jim,
I copied them from the CD to my desktop and imported one of the mail folders
using OE's import function and it imported just fine. I was able to read the
mail properly unlike on my current machine. This little experiment showed
that the email dbx files are still ok and that this is only happening on my
main PC that I just installed all the current MS security patches on. Once I
installed all of the security updates, my OE6 only allows me to view ALL of
my email messages as attachments. I'm trying to figure out how to be able to
view them normally again. Do I need to delete my identity, create a new one
and import in all of my current email dbx folders? Tim Kuay suggested that
something may have gotten corrupted during the security patch update process.
