can you have email under same address going to desktop and laptop same time

I bought a laptop and wanted my mail going to both the notebook and my
desktop simultaneously. After spending much time online with an outlook
express person here in the us and then India, they finally, with much
frustration, thought they had set that up for me. I had two different icons
on the welcome screen on the CRT, but it seemed to work for awhile. (The
reason I did this was because I wanted to be able to print some of the
messages I received, and the printer was only connected to the desktop
computer.)
Now, I will get an email on only one computer, and not the other. And when I
tried sending the messages I received on the notebook to the desktop for
printing, this also worked for awhile. But now it does not send from one to
the other. And some emails I do not receive on both computers. I tried
canceling the accounts (both icons) on the desktop computer, but whenever I
started it up, they both still worked when I clicked on them, even when
under Tools-Accounts, there was no mail account there. I guess because the
account was still set up on the notebook?
Could someone tell me , is it possible to do what I am trying to do in
having the mail going to both computers, as the O.E. people seemed not to
know too well how to do this, and now it is not working.
Thank you in advance,
Fairuse
.
