Hi Kay,
Your new thread is alive and well. Jim has replied with an attached picture.
If MSN is your ISP and your e-mail account is HTTP (Web-based) there will
not be an (ISP provided) SMTP server available to you. You would only have
access to the SMTP if your account were old enough to have an MSN POP3
account in use (Legacy Account).

Hi,
I tried starting a new thread a few hours ago but it didn't show up. So I
guess I have to continue this one.
Anyway, can either of you walk me through the "properties" file? I know I
am not doing something right. I tried to take off the SSL and when I did
that, I couldn't send or receive. Also, I went on a MS website and found
that one should use smtp.email.msn.com for the SMTP (outgoing) so I tried
that and it doesn't seem to work either.
There's probably some "combination" I need that I'm not using to get my
email to send.
