Then, as others have posted, the problem is that you are set to read all messages in plain text, and the inline display cannot be shown since it uses richedit.dll to display the information in the preview pane. (Tools/Options/Read and uncheck the Read all messages in plain text).

Jim,

It appears removing the checkmark for the HTML blocking has not made a
difference, next suggestion. I can combine and decode, or open them by right
clicking and launching a image viewer. But no viewing is allowed by
scrolling down… in a message with an attachment. I have not use a viewing
window to prevent activation of executable for a long while.


This change in blocking attachment has me puzzled.
