Usenet image display

I can not view attachments using O.E. 6 in newsgroups any longer. I finally
managed to connect this computer to the A high speed internet connection and
downloaded SP2, and other updates.

I only want to view incomming messages in text, I never want to view HTML
postings in the Usenet/newsgroups. How do i get O.E. Version 6 to display
attachments (images) again in text mode?

In tools> Options> security - I have already unchecked the "Do not allow
attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus"

There should be a place that allows image files to be viewed, rather than
all attachemnts.

What am I doing wrong, as prior to sp2 i had no problems, when opening
e-mail I had downloaded.
