Disable email scanning by your anti-virus application. It provides no additional protection and even Symantec says it's not necessary:
<paste>
Disabling Email Scanning does not leave you unprotected against viruses that are distributed as email attachments. Norton AntiVirus Auto-Protect scans incoming files as they are saved to your hard drive, including email and email attachments. Email Scanning is just another layer on top of this. To make sure that Auto-Protect is providing the maximum protection, keep Auto-Protect enabled and run LiveUpdate regularly to ensure that you have the most recent virus definitions.

I was just trying to email one recipient today and saw problem. They are not trying to share OE across the network.
I don't know anything about routers. Computer A has a Linksys router and a small black box that sits on top of the router that says RCA. I tried to see how computer C was connected but I did not see. Could it be the router setting on Computer C? Could it be the setting? I have heard people say something about don't need firewall because of having router and is that why I cannot find firewall software or setting?
Or is a file is corrupted? I hope not since I have already looked at KB about reintalling IE6.
AVG is the antivirus program used so that did not seem to figure into anti-virus software problems listed.
Thanks for your comments, information, etc. Susan
