Hi Steve,
OLEXP: Mail Folders, Address Book, and E-mail Messages Are Missing After You
Upgrade to Microsoft Windows XP

This article describes how to find the old message store and recover the
messages by importing them. It will be the same procedure with Windows 2000.

Hi,
I recently lost my logon for a Windows 2000 machine due to a change I
made in the network settings and I ended up installing another parallel
copy of Windows 2000 on a different drive just so I could reset the
admin password on my original installation so I can at least log onto
it. So my old O.S is on D drive and I can boot up off it as
administator but I can't see any of my old emails because I lost my old
logon.
I never backed up the the old emails but they must be around somewhere
since the only thing that I lost was the log on. Everything on the D
drive is still intact so those old emails must be there somewhere.
Does anyone know how I can get at them?
Thanks for any info,
Steve
