| I've tried The Bat, Thunderbird, Eudora, M2 and a few other email
| clients... problem is, they all SUCK. The only one I ever used that
| didn't suck was OE. But in terms of
| security, its legendary in how much it sucks. I know that SP2
| implemented some
| improvements in security for OE, but I'm guessing that's a finger in
| the dyke (no "dyke jokes" please, that's just witless and clicheed).
| I'm wondering if OE can be made as secure as ANYTHING, with the
| addition of 3rd party programs, or "tips and tricks" to ensure
| security. I'll even settle for "as secure as The Bat".
|
| At the very least, my Kaspersky anti virus works with OE databases,
| whereas it doesn't with most other programs. But I'm more concerned
| with exploits and things like that. I did a specific search for 3rd
| party security programs for OE and did not find anything. So what if I
| don't use address book feature, or is there some way to turn off HTML
| to avoid having my IP address or other info broadcast to the sender's
| site?
Pegasus Mail doesn't suck and is very secure.
