I experienced the similar problem with outlook express 6 with McAfee
antivirus/personal firewall/privacy/spamware installed in Windows XP. I
can't send emails through port 465 but I can receive email through port
995.

Any advice on how to turn off McAfee service without compromising the
protection that McAfee program provides.

-Nick
