Thanks for the feedback and good luck on solving the issue. The "X-Unsent:
1" add-in is not the problem though as that should be present in all unsent
mail. The loss of the lead in characters in your message suggests it may be
an encoding problem, usually with Big5 character sets or using other
non-ASCII characters. Under Tools/Options/Send check your setings for
encoding for Plain Text and HTML where the setting should be MIME-None for
Plain Text and MIME-Quoted Printable for HTML messages and see if that
helps.
After you install Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), the body text of
HTML-based e-mail messages that are sent from Outlook Express may be
truncated and may be missing data. This problem may occur if the e-mail
message contains non-ASCII characters, such as Chinese characters. If
that's the case, then the following update may be applicable in your case.
