iced this before but assumed it was me, i.e. finger trouble. However,
I now find that all my posts to newsgroups such as this last posting I have
just sent are losing the first characters. I have inserted several
new-lines to the posting.

The post should have started:-

Despite you expressing the thought that some software houses are reluctant
to provide feedback SPAMfighter have come up trumps. I have had the
following response from them:- ..........................................

Doers anyone have any ideas as to the cause. Is it news.x.privat.org, OE6
or another SPAMfighter problem.
