Address Book loss

A few days ago I had a catostropic system failure. (story below)
I have now restored the system with WindowsXP Pro and am unable
to find and restore my OE address book. I have searched this NG
for info and clued, all of which have been tried with no luck so
far. Does any one have a suggestion on how to procede from here?

The Story:..:
My system was WindowsME. I added a second hard drive and then
almost immediately started to experience system problems whenever
I went on line using IE. The system would hang up on many web
pages as soon as I would go to the URL. The only recovery was the
power switch as I could not do anything else to recover. The
system became very unstable. I then proceeded to remove the added
drive (Maxtor 120G) and its software package. Still really bad.

My next step was to reload (refresh) WindowsME. After this step,
I got the BOD.. lol... Blue screen and could NOT get past this
point in any way. Nothing I did would change the symptom.
(My REAL messup was not creating a 'restore' point.)

Next step was to remove the system drive and replace it with the
new drive (At least this way I would still save all of my info. I
purchased XP and then setup the system with it (on the new
drive).
All is well now (so far) and just need to reinstall all of my
additional program packages. (I'm going to upgrade Office and
FrontPage.)

I was able to recover all of my email and email folders from the
problem system disk, but I cannot seem to find where the address
book is stored and how to recover it. I have searched for *.wa?
and did find one book that was created in 1998. That one had 4
entries in it. My current book had over 100 entries. Is it
possible that it is stored in some other file type??

Just as a side note: I was able to recover many e-mail addys from
e-mails that are in my folders, but, the Address Book is critical
to me also as it has a lot of information in it (birth dates,
anniversary, post office addresses, etc.)

Any information and help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
PJ
