Hi John,
If everything works using another identity it can be made the default. The
original identity could then be removed. You would not have to create a new
e-mail account. A back-up of your OE data could be done to be on the very
safe side. Your e-mail address is provided by e-mail provider -- not created
in Outlook Express, but I think you know this.

I have done everything and I still have the problem -- except for this -- I am afraid to delete my Main Identity since it's my main email address -- and I don't want to make a new one. Have I misunderstood something? Also, how do I a import messages from my old identity if I need to? Thanks again for your help.
