Hi Robert! Yes, configuring my new email accounts with IX Webhosting has
been more of a hassle than anything. :)

And actually, I was just on Live Chat with them. We verified that my POP3
accounts were ok on their end, and I was able to telnet successfully into my
server's incoming mail port:

Run > telnet > open mail.[my domain].com 110

They said it must be my OE6 settings. They said to try using another mail
program, like Netscape, which I don't want to do.

Then they said to disable my Microsoft Windows firewall, and restart.
At which point I asked another question, and they hung up (closed the chat
window)!

So I restarted with the firewall disabled, and even more strangely, under:

Tools > Send and Receive

all of my POP3 accounts for IX Webhosting are now dimmed out, so you cannot
select them! Although they still appear in the list of all accounts when I
click "Send and Receive All".

So I don't know how to tweak my OE6 settings anymore. I have followed the
webhost's instructions to a tee (what little there is in their manual), and
nothing works. I've tried using it with and without outgoing mail
authorization, and with my ISP's outgoing mail server and my webhosts. No
luck. IMAP with them is fine--it's just POP3.
