All rules where it box isn't grayed out should have Stop processing
more rules checked. This is so *only* the rule you want is applied.
Sometime, a rule will work without that checked depending on it's
location in the list of rules.

The only rules that you can't check that box is Delete it from the
serves and Do not download from the server as they gray out that box.
All others should have that box checked.

Also, keep all Delete it from the server rules at the top of the list
and the ones with other actions below them. And don't use Do not
download from the server as a permanent rule as the messages will stay
on the server and eventually clog it up.

For the last part of your post, AFAIK, you can't mesh rules with two
separate accounts. If you want to copy the rules to the second
account, see this program:

I hope this clears it up a bit. Rules can be confusing a times. BTW, I
have all my rules highlighted with a different color. This way, if
something isn't working right, you can easily see which rule was
applied.
