I uninstalled 887797, rebooted, reinstalled 887797 with no AV running. All
to no avail.
My only running programs (third-party) is EZAV latest version and EZFW
latest version (really ZoneAlarm).
I disagree that safe mode is not the skinniest boot I can do. I checked Task
Manager while in safe mode and there was really nothing I can eliminate.
Since it is Internet Explorer error message reporting the problem, I suspect
now that one of the updates to IE caused the problem. Others via Google
researching have stated that the repair of IE does not fix the problem.
