If you are seeing the reply in the "Sent Items" folder then the reply left
your computer and was picked up by the SMTP server. At this point there are
two things to check. Examine the message in the "Sent Items" folder;
particularly, the "To:" email address. If this is correct, on your next
attempt to reply, edit the "Subject:" line; remove the "Re: " part, ensuring
that the first character of the "Subject:" line is butted up to the edge of
the entry field. Now send it. If this goes through, very likely some part of
the recipient's email system, from the MX server to their email client, is
deleting email that has the "Re: " in the "Subject:" line as spam.
