Do a traceroute to that sender's host and report the abuse to their
upstream provider (i.e., their ISP). If they are using dial-up then
lookup the IP address to see to whom it is allocated and report the
abuse to them. Use ARIN's WhoIs (http://www.arin.net/tools/) to check
who is allocated the IP address (the other registrars are listed on that
page so you might have to check with them if the IP address is not
within the range for which ARIN has responsibility). You didn't bother
to mention the abuser's IP address (which is a good thing because the
abuse is your perception and experience and it would be inappropriate to
expose the sender to undue punishment beyond what action their ISP
enacts), so we cannot do the lookup for you.

Also check the headers of the abusive e-mail. Often the sending mail
provider will add "X-something" headers to help recipients report spam.
Just be careful that such information correlates to the IP address of
the sender in the the Received headers since the sender can insert bogus
headers.

When you have a problem like this, or with other abuse, like spam,
participants in the alt.spam and and alt.privacy.spyware newsgroups
will probably have better methods for you to identify the offender.
That's where I learned a lot on reading e-mail headers and what tools to
use to identify senders.
