I have Acrobat and I don't have anything in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Plugins\Extension

First export the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Plugins\Extension\.pdf
as a Reg file, then delete it. Then make sure Acrobat still works. If it
doesn't, right click the REG file and choose Merge.
