Hi Ginnalee,
Here's something to try:
Copy this target (complete with quotes) by highlighting, then right-click
Copy:
"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe"
Right-click the desktop
Choose New Shortcut
Right-click Paste the target path into the text box
Click Next to finish the shortcut (The shortcut's name can be changed now or
later)
A shortcut to a newsgroup could also be used if there is an NNTP news
account if Outlook Express is the default news client.
news://
Or
News:<group-name> for a group on the list of downloaded groups
